Ice Chalet Sunday Night Hockey Schedule: As we now have several A level players wanting to skate on Sunday evening coupled with the fact that we don’t yet have enough players ready to commit to an eleven week schedule to form four full teams, we have decided to delay formation of the Sunday night league and will instead offer two Sunday night 4 on 4 pickup games. This Sunday, Feb. 18, the 7 PM game is open to Level A and B players. The 8:30 PM game is open to Level B and C players. Level B players may skate in either or both games.  Both games will consist of three 20 minute running time periods with the clock stopping when goals are scored, when the puck goes out of play, and during penalties. If there is a one point or less score difference at 15 minutes into the third period, the last five minutes will be stop-time. There will be a referee and clock/scorekeeper. The cost will remain $15.00. Any B level players may skate both games for $20.00. The Ice Chalet Director of Hockey will have final authority over any questions concerning a given player’s skill and experience level and which category (A, B, C) they are placed in for purposes of these Ice Chalet games. In some cases these categorizations may not coincide exactly with those of player classification at other rinks. We will alternate game times for the classifications each week, meaning that on Feb. 25 the Level B & C game will be at 7 PM and the Level A & B game will be at 8:30 PM. At whatever future point enough players are willing to commit to an eleven week schedule to form four ten player teams, then we will resume with league play.
