Ava began skating at the Ice Chalet when she was just five years old and has been part of the rink ever since. She has passed Freestyle 5 and Dance 6, and also participates in synchronized skating.

Ava loves sharing her passion for skating with others and describes the feeling perfectly: “Skating makes me feel like I’m flying.” She enjoys encouraging other skaters and helping them discover that same love of the ice.

Off the ice, Ava is a senior at Central High School in Knoxville. She plans to attend the University of Tennessee next year, where she hopes to study Biosystems Engineering.

Ava teaches Basics, Dance, and Choreography at the Ice Chalet.
