Sarah Perez

Sarah has been part of the Ice Chalet community since she was 4 years old. She was seriously injured in a car accident on May 28, 2011, when she was a rising fifth grader at the Knoxville Jewish Day School.

Sarah loves peace symbols, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, animals, Facebook, and her iPod. She is fluent in Hebrew and founded the "Children Helping Children" organization at her school.

Her favorite colors are blue, pink, and purple, and she is known for always having a flower or another adornment in her hair.

Mary Lu has been part of the Ice Chalet community since 1995. She was seriously injured in a car accident on November 11, 2013.

Before joining the Ice Chalet teaching staff, she was a Performance Director and Principal Soloist with Disney On Ice for almost 12 years.

Mary Lu began skating at age 3 and competed in USFS from age 8 to 18. She is a Gold Medalist in Figures and Freestyle and Pre-Silver in Ice Dance, and she trained under Christine Krall and Carlo Fassi.
