Family FUN for the holidays!

This is an annual treat for the holiday season. Skaters of all ages and skill levels can play a role in one of the most famous Christmas tales ever told, completely performed on the ice.

SPECIAL NOTE: Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, we will divide this year’s shows into different scenes to be presented and filmed between November 30th and December 6th. The scenes will then be edited into one video that will be available for purchase and/or pay-per-view. Limited audience seating will be available for the days and times the scenes are being filmed. It is a bit different, but we will do our best to make it a special experience for all!

The Story
Nutcracker On Ice is a holiday fairy tale about a young girl, Claire, and a magical Christmas night. The story begins as Claire’s family and friends gather for their annual Christmas celebration. Drosselmeyer, Claire’s Godfather, arrives with presents for everyone, including a spectacular Nutcracker doll for his favorite Godchild. As the party winds down and the guests head home, Claire goes off to bed, excited about her new gift. She eventually falls asleep, and with a little help from Drosselmeyer’s magic, her dream begins.

Suddenly, Claire’s home is transformed into an enchanted land where rats and toy soldiers are engaged in a battle... and the Nutcracker comes to life. The battle is won when the Nutcracker defeats the King Rat and saves Claire. Together, Claire and the Nutcracker journey to the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy. They are delighted by dancers from around the world. As her dream ends, Claire awakens with special memories of a most magical Christmas.

Location: 100 Lebanon Street in Knoxville, beside the Shops at Western Plaza.
